sentosa

so we went to sentosa yesterday, but unlike all the singaporeans who only head towards the beach, we decided to be like tourists and we planned to go to the underwater world and the pink dolphin lagoon... but of course... who can resist going to the beach to slack when one is in sentosa... so off we went!

first stop was vivo city... being suakus... we wanted to try the new mini MRT into sentosa... it turned out to be a little MRT ride... =] but we had a good view of the island as well as the new IR that is under construction... it is also a much faster way in and out of sentosa than the old fashioned bus...


next up, we went sun tanning!... well it was more of sun burning for me... the sun was really nice and bright so we decided to BBQ ourselves first...


After our pengkang session, we headed down to underwater world... the price was of course quite steep, but since it was 20bucks for both entry to underwater world and dolphin lagoon, we decided to whack... it was really crowded at UWW due to the possibility of a national holiday in india... because there were herds of indians all over sentosa as well as UWW... some photos taken at UWW:










next we cheonged down to the pink dolphin lagoon to beat the dark crowd... but the sun was really hot and glaring by now... and i had to drag the gf to sit in the front row so that we could have a better view... look at the fierceness!!... haha... but she was sweet and sat thru the whole thing with me... =]


the day was coming to an end... so we decided to head to the foodcourt and eat our favourite curry fish head... we decided to quench our thirst with some beer, but mainly cos its cheap... and that was the end of our sentosa saga... =]
