Band concert tomorrow!! really excited cos its going to be a big piece and a big concert... Planet Earth by Johan De Meij... 50 min symphony!! but its not as long as i thought it would be... 3 movements to complete the planet series by gustav holst... if you guys have heard of the song jupiter you will know wat im talking about...

i din have time to ask all of you this time round cos was busy with school work... but... tickets will be sold at the door... there should be lots of tickets still cos we opened many seats... so if you all want to catch the singapore premiere of this symphony no.3 planet earth, do come down and check it out for yourself...

its really a big work... the instrumentation is already so big... besides the band, we have a cello section, a harpist, 2 pianist, contra bassoons and clarinets, string bass, and electronic speakers to play the sound effects!... suppose to have a female choir too, but no resources... so the choir will be us!!... lol...
